Dr. Lorraine Rein, Au.D. FAAA Doctor of Audiology
Board Certified Doctor of Audiology Dr. Lorraine Rein’s extensive experience in helping those individuals and families overcome the difficulties of hearing loss includes positions as Clinical Supervisor for doctoral students at Hofstra University and Chief of Audiology at The Parker Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation. She has also provided hearing rehabilitation services at A. Holly Patterson Geriatric Center, and in private medical practice settings to help people with hearing difficulty improve their quality of life with better hearing clarity. In Addition, Dr. Rein has worked with the non-profit organization Long Island Hearing Screening Program providing hearing screenings to pre-school age children.
Dr. Lorraine Rein is dedicated to using her experience and sincere compassion to provide the best solutions for those coping with hearing difficulty. Knowing how easy it can be for her patients’ connections to their friends and loved ones to deteriorate when hearing becomes difficult gives her a passion to keep everyone connected.
Outside of work, Dr. Rein is an avid dog rescuer, and she lives with her husband and her dog, Morgan. Aside from her years of work restoring communication to her patients, she says that her greatest accomplishment has been her raising “two boys who have become kind, honorable men”.
Most of all, Dr. Rein is excited to meet all her new patients, learn their stories, and change their lives for the better.
